When I meet Matt at The Eleventh Hour…

The first thing I shall say to him after ‘asklhfalsghalg’

Will be ‘You know, I’m surprised we’re all stood here today’

And when he asks why, I shall respond with ‘Well, all your fans thought you’d burn the world down with the olympic torch.’

Then Alex Kingston will laugh.

And I will pass out.

• I’d have loved David Tennant to carry the Olympic Torch.
• But by that I mean lighting it in London.
• Just to make Doctor Who seem that little bit more real.
• But anyway, David is busy.
• So couldn’t.
• And now I think about it, I wouldn’t want him running in Cardiff with the torch anyway.
• As my reason for wanting him to do it would be ruined as it should be London.
• But Matt’s running.
• And even though that’s dangerous (I’m truly worried for my friend at Cardiff Uni).
• It’s a good thing.
• The Doctor (even though Matt’s running as Matt not as Eleven) will be carrying the torch in multiple places in the fanon land that is my head.
• HELL, WHAT IF ALL ELEVEN DOCTORS ARE SOMEWHERE IN THE WORLD CARRYING THE 2012 OLYMPIC TORCH? WHAT IF GUYS? WHAT IF? 

Fandom, you disappoint me.

Matt Smith is amazing.

And he’s been given a wonderful opportunity.

Don’t ruin it for him because you won’t get to wank over David with the torch.

I hate the term ‘true/real fans’ but in this case, if you hate that Matt is getting to do something I’m pretty sure he’ll be ‘OVARIESing’ about, then you really don’t deserve to call yourself a fan.
